Universal Shower Filter

Keep your shower. Upgrade your water.

A universal shower filter is for one specific person: you like your current shower head and have no plans to replace it. Fair enough. The SUHAE Universal screws inline into your existing setup, takes a few minutes to install by hand, and treats the water with vitamin C before it ever reaches the head you already chose.

No renovation, no plumber, no change to how your bathroom looks. Just different water coming out of the same shower.

Why Filter Your Shower Water at All?

Because the water is the one part of your routine nobody audits. PUB chlorinates Singapore’s supply so it’s safe to drink, which is exactly what drinking water should be. Showering in it is another matter. Chlorine dries skin out, and if your skin feels tight after showers or your scalp stays itchy no matter which shampoo you switch to, the water is worth ruling out before you spend more money treating the symptoms.

A universal shower filter deals with it upstream. The water gets treated in the second before it touches you, every shower, without you doing a single extra thing.

Three Refills, Picked by What Your Skin Is Telling You

This is what separates the Universal from a generic inline filter. The refills are targeted, so you choose based on what you’re actually dealing with:

Sensitive-Skin Care has jojoba oil, bottleweed extract and panthenol, for skin that reacts to harsh water.

Deep-Hydrate Care carries hyaluronan and glycerin, for the kind of dryness that lotion keeps losing to.

Scalp-Soothe Care uses calamus and houttuynia extract, for a scalp that feels tight or flaky from daily washing.

Refills swap in seconds. Some customers rotate with the seasons, others find their match and stay put. Either works.

Fit and Install

The Universal fits the standard shower connections found across practically all Singapore homes, HDB, BTO, condo or landed. It sits between the hose and your existing head, so the brand of your shower head doesn’t matter. If you can unscrew a shower head, you can install this. It’s the same motion. Not sure about your setup? WhatsApp us a photo and we’ll confirm before you order.

Two things it isn’t for. Ceiling and wall-mounted rainshowers need the Vitae-Connector over in our rain shower sets, which is purpose-built for those fittings. And if you’ve decided you want the full system rather than an add-on, start with the vitamin C shower heads instead. The Universal is the entry point; Radiance is the destination.

Quick Answers

Does a universal shower filter work with any brand of shower head?

Any brand on the standard SG fitting, which is nearly all of them. Grohe, generic HDB-issue, whatever came with your BTO. The filter doesn’t care what’s downstream of it.

How often do the refills change?

Around every two to three months with daily use, sooner in a busy family bathroom. The housing is heat-resistant, SGS-tested polypropylene, same materials standard as the rest of our range, and there’s no everyday signal quite like the Vitae scents here, so go by the calendar or message us your purchase date and we’ll remind you when it’s due.

Which refill should I start with?

Tell us what your skin or scalp is dealing with and we’ll point you to the right one. That’s genuinely the fastest route, and it’s what the WhatsApp line is for. If you’re guessing blind, Sensitive-Skin Care is the safest first pick.
