It comes off the arm. Keep it somewhere safe for a minute, because it is going straight back on.

The honest version.

Will it change how my shower feels?

The water changes, the spray does not. The Connector does not have a SUHAE spray plate in it, because your own head is still doing that job. If you want the pressure and the spray pattern to change as well, you want Aura or a handshower instead.

Is it visible?

Yes. It adds a short chrome section between the arm and the head, so it sits in plain view. Most people do not mind it. If you would rather see nothing new, Aura hides the filtration inside the panel.

What is the difference between this and the Universal filter?

Universal attaches to standard handheld and fixed shower heads. The Connector is built to sit between an overhead rain panel and its outlet, and it adds an MF filter for sediment alongside the vitamin C cartridge. Rain shower, Connector. Handshower, Universal.

Do I have to buy special refills for it?

No. It takes the same Vitae™ cartridge as Radiance, Nourish and Aura at S$29.90, so if you already own a SUHAE the refills in your cupboard fit this too.

Why this one

Vitae™ Infusion

Vitamin C does the work.

Ascorbic acid neutralises chlorine on contact, the same chemistry used to dechlorinate water before it goes back into a waterway. It is the same Vitae™ cartridge the rest of the range takes, and it carries the scent as well as the vitamin C.

MF filter

Sediment, not just chemistry.

A microfibre filter sits alongside the cartridge and catches sediment and fine impurities. Between the two, the Connector deals with what is dissolved in the water and what is floating in it.

In line

Your panel, unchanged.

It threads in above your existing head, so the spray pattern you already like is the spray pattern you keep. If your rain shower is built in, expensive, or not yours to replace, this is the only way to filter it.

PUB chlorinates on purpose, and it works.

The water that reaches your flat is safe to drink, and the residual chlorine is what keeps it that way the whole length of the pipe. We are not going to argue with that.
