Vitamin C Shower Filter Refills

Maintain your glow.

A vitamin C shower filter refill is the part that keeps everything working. Inside your SUHAE handle sits a Vitae™ cartridge quietly neutralising chlorine every time the water runs, and once it’s spent, your water goes back to being ordinary tap water. Slot in a fresh one and the glow routine continues without a gap. The whole swap takes seconds.

What’s Inside Each Vitamin C Shower Filter Refill

25,000mg of vitamin C, which converts free chlorine on contact as water passes through. We blend in skin-comfort ingredients too: glycerin, milk extract and aloe vera, so the water carries a bit of care with it rather than just losing its harshness.

The housing is polypropylene, tested by SGS with no detectable heavy metals, and RoHS-compliant. Ask us for the lab report any time and we’ll send it over. One thing customers sometimes wonder about: you never open the plastic casing itself. Peel the sticker off the top, slot the cartridge into the handle, close it up. Water flows through the sealed casing exactly as designed.

Every Vitae™ refill fits Radiance and Nourish, and the Aura rainshower in our rain shower sets. The one exception in the range is the SUHAE Universal, which runs on its own targeted-care refills.

Eleven Scents. Or None.

Ocean Calm, Baby Powder, Soft Citrus, Citrus Bloom, White Jasmine, Blush Rose, Forest Pine, Cool Eucalyptus, Forest Calm, Lavender. And Pure Unscented, for anyone who wants clean water and nothing else. The scent releases gently as the vitamin C dissolves, which turns out to be a genuinely nice way to start a morning. Plenty of customers rotate: Lavender at night, citrus for the morning shower, unscented in the guest bathroom.

When to Replace It

Roughly every two to three months. A single person showering once a day gets more mileage than a family bathroom where four people run it morning and night, and hotter water uses the cartridge up a little faster.

The everyday tell is the scent. It releases as the vitamin C dissolves, so when your shower stops smelling like anything, the cartridge is near the end. To be certain, open the handle for a quick look. A spent cartridge is visibly empty. And if you’d rather not think about any of this, tell us when you bought yours and we’ll simply message you when it’s due. We track it anyway.

Small tip: order two refills together and we include the Purea™ Core filter set free. That’s the micro-fabric and anti-bacterial layer, which you’d otherwise replace every 6 to 12 months on its own.

Refill Questions, Answered

Which SUHAE products does this refill fit?

Radiance Chrome, Radiance Black, Nourish, and the Aura rainshower. Same cartridge across all of them, so a household with two SUHAE showers only ever stocks one type of refill.

Is the plastic casing safe with hot water?

Yes. It’s heat-resistant PP, tested by SGS against IEC standards for cadmium, lead, mercury and hexavalent chromium, with nothing detectable on any of them. The casing stays sealed its whole life; there’s nothing to open and nothing to leach.

How do I know when it’s done?

Two signals. The scent fades first – that’s the vitamin C running low, since the fragrance releases as it dissolves. Then confirm by opening the handle for a quick look; you’ll see straight away if the cartridge is spent. And honestly, the easiest way: we track it. Tell us when you bought yours and we’ll message you when it’s probably due.
